COINFLIP.COM-David La Ronde wins English Poker Open 2009
This year’s English Poker Open has crowned David La Ronde as the reigning champion, taking home over $330,000. The event was held at the prestigious card room Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham, the biggest in the country. The event featured some of the biggest names in poker including Doyle Brunson, Annette Obrestad, Liv Boeree and PokerStars EPT winner Marc Goodwin. It was a $5,300 buy-in for the main event and it spanned over 3 days, at the end it would be Englishman La Ronde who would take home the big prize.
